Technical Translator
Responsibilities
Translate, review and sign-off online help and printed documentation
Lead projects/features through release
Assist in localized software testing
Manage translation memory and terminology database
Recommend process improvements and work towards group consensus
Requirements
B.A./ B.S or above (preferably English or Computer Science major)
Proficiency in Chinese and English
Strong interest in and comfortable with technology
Basic understanding of character encoding, HTML and XML
Hands-on experience working with computers (hardware and/or software)
Programming and desktop publishing skills preferred
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Attention to details and ability to handle multiple projects and priorities
Ability to work efficiently in a group environment
