概念：表示过去正在进行的动作
结构：be (was, were) + doing
时间状语：at this time, at＋时间点+过去时间（at 9:00 o'clock last night），when, while, this morning, the whole morning, all day yesterday, from nine to ten last evening
a. 一段时间内一直不停从事的动作。例如：
Mike is looking for his wallet the whole morning.
b. 用于when, while的时间状语从句中
e.g: My brother fell while he was riding his bicycle and hurt himself.
It was raining________ when they left ________the station. 他们离开车站时，正下着雨。
When I got to________ the top of the mountain, the sun was shining________.
